¿De qué trata The Forbidden Marriage?
Lee Heon es el rey de Joseon. Hace 7 años murió su amada esposa y aún no ha podido superar su muerte. Durante los últimos 7 años han intentado que se vuelva a casar ya que desde ese entonces hay un decreto que prohíbe a todas las mujeres solteras casarse antes que el rey, por lo que la gente está furiosa. Mientras tanto, Ye So Rang es una estafadora y afirma interpretar signos de armonía marcial. Es arrestada y encarcelada y para salir de su situación, finge estar poseída por un espíritu. Durante su engaño, menciona que el espíritu de la difunta esposa del rey Lee Heon existe dentro del palacio real por lo que la llevan ante el rey. Para sobrevivir, Ye So Rang actúa como si su cuerpo estuviera poseído por la difunta esposa del rey. Las mentiras de Ye So Rang se vuelven más grandes y audaces según se va enredando la situación.
