가상의 도시 카무로쵸를 배경으로 1995년과 2005년이라는 두 가지 타임라인이 교차하며 전개되는 이야기. 1995년, 규칙에 얽매인 보육원 생활에서 벗어나기 위해 야쿠자가 지배하는 1995년 카무로쵸의 지하 세계로 뛰어든 네 친구. 2005년, 동성회와 오미 연합 사이의 긴장이 극에 달하며 그들의 우정은 파국으로 치닫는다.
